On a pleasant day at Buffalo Reservoir you can take a hike along the Rock Creek Trail; Aspen Knoll is pretty and can be observed from here.       This lake is so wonderful. Near Buffalo Reservoir you hit upon Buffalo Pass which is a magnificent site to check out; Buffalo Dam is a beautiful place, certainly worth checking out. Buffalo Reservoir is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Never Summer Nordic is a pleasant local campground, and going for a hike along the Grassy Run Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Buffalo Reservoir,                  you could also explore delightful Upper House Reservoir, and if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Arapaho Creek Trail.
