The beauty of Buffalo Lake attracts many people from all around. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Sawatch Range. There are plenty of people from Edwards here at Buffalo Lake; Buffalo Lake is not the only spot close by, Waterdog Lake is a close by lake. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff at Buffalo Lake. If you need a location to stay Centennial Condominiums is a great choice; playing golf is lots of fun at
Beaver Creek Golf Course. Good hiking is available along the Fall Creek Trail, and you can never get enough of the glorious skiing at Beaver Creek.
There's brilliant hiking along the Nottingham Ridge Trail, and there's some flowing water close by, East Cross Creek is a stream you can visit during your stay. So much amusing stuff in the Sawatch Range, just mind-boggling. If you came for an overnight stay Half Moon Campground is a delightful site to camp, and

a lake nearby is Grouse Lake. Really great skiing awaits you at Vail, and don't leave Buffalo Lake without first going for a hike along the Half Moon Trail.
Buffalo Lake is one of the lakes here in the Sawatch Range. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort And Spa, and Eagle River is a perfect whitewater spot nearby. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Buffalo Lake, and the nighttime is quite cooler of course, generally in the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Buffalo Lake.
I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a pleasant time here at Buffalo Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The panorama of charming Grouse Mountain near Buffalo Lake is magnificent, and Gold Park Campground is a wonderful local campground. Buffalo Lake gets very little precipitation; most of the rain falls all through July, and February is the month with the least moisture.
