If the weather is great here at Buck Lake, you can go for a hike along the Blue Creek Trail; Rocky Fork Campground is a nice campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. The fine folks of Edwards like to hang out nearby, and on a fine day you can take a hike along the Ironedge Trail. In case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Roaring Fork; since you're here,       you could go to Sourdough Creek. A journey to Schoolhouse Gulch is always fun, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Antone Trail. Man, is there heaps of fun stuff to do in the Sawatch Range. If you get bored of Buck Lake, you could also stop by nearby Sundell Reservoir. This lake is one of the great places here in the Sawatch Range. You simply must like the Sawatch Range. Here at Buck Lake you can spot Sugarloaf; Rim Lake is a nearby                  lake that you could visit. These mountains rock, just explore all the exciting things to do in the Sawatch Range. -blank- is a splendid whitewater spot right next door to Buck Lake, and after a long day outdoors Snowmass Lodging Company is a tremendous site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Sourdough Spring is an inspiring site to explore while here, and Bull Park is a delightful site to check out. At Buck Lake through the summertime months highs are in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Buck Lake. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun stuff the area near Buck Lake has to offer. A good close by hotel is The Crestwood Condominiums, and hey, Gotta ski right? Aspen Mountain is a magnificent place to do that. Around Buck Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; throughout the month of April you get the most rain around here, and June is the month with the least moisture.
