There's so much to do here at Brush Creek Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Creek Campground is a delightful location for that. All through the warmest time of the year here at Brush Creek Lakes, high temperatures typically get into the 80's with night lows in the 40's. Throughout the winter the highs

Cloverdale Basin is a beautiful place any time of year, and AppleLodge Bed And Breakfast is a pleasant place to get some rest. There's perfect hiking along the Crossover Trail, as expected you could also go to Banjo Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. Creek Lakes is right by the Rainbow Trail, and if you came to camp Bighorn Rv Park is a brilliant site to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Brush Creek Lakes is located in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Yeah, come up here to
the Sangre De Cristo Mountains for a pleasant time. The Cotton Trail offers hiking at its best; a magnificent location for whitewater paddling is Arkansas River. Be careful coming to the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, you might not ever
wanna go home again. A lake close by is South Branch Lake; naturally Smith Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth visiting. At Brush Creek Lakes you don’t see much rainfall; the month with most of the rain is August while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.

South Crestone Lake
 | 12 miles away Trail is awful, disappearing and reappearing every now and again. Thorn bushes and trash cover what little trail is easy to navigate. Trail disappears completely before you actually reach the lake. Also it appears that an axe murderer has taken up residence in the upperwoods. Be careful and travel in large groups if you plan to try and make it to the lake. It is easy to get lost so mark your trail well.... |
