Brunelli Reservoir is a location that is rather arid mostly; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and January on the other hand is the driest.       Why not take a refreshing hike along the Apishapa Trail. Lakes? Sure, Bear Lake is in the vicinity. Brunelli Reservoir truly is in the middle of a scenic outdoors paradise. A good close by hotel is Knights Inn Walensburg, and a nice spot to explore is Dry Canyon. This lake is so wonderful.
