Get your pulse rate up on the delightful whitewater of Cache La Poudre River, and if you came for an overnight stay Long Draw Campground is a tremendous place to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Big Bend Campground, and the Mirror Lake Trail offers hiking at its best. If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors,       just come on down to Browns Lake. If you need a place to stay Fawn Valley Inn is a great choice, and you can run the rapids of Cache La Poudre River. Around Browns Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; July is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month of the year is December. All through the warm months at Browns Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. Through the wintertime                  highs are mostly in the 30's with temperatures at Browns Lake dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights. You could also pop by Comanche Lake while you're here at Browns Lake; it's nearby, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Dadd Gulch Trail.
