Stock Driveway, and obviously Mason Creek flows through this area. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Lake Fork Gunnison River. There's so much to do here at Brown Lakes that you need to camp here for a while,
South Clear Creek Falls Campground is a perfect place for that. Brown Lakes gets very little rain; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and February is when it's the driest.
