While you're here at Brown Lake it's a great idea to visit Brown Park; there is a perfect hiking trail nearby called the Indian Trail. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining things the Sangre De Cristo Mountains has to offer. Near Brown Lake you come across perfect locations like Bear Canyon, and going for a hike on the Wade Trail is always a great adventure. This lake is so wonderful.       You're perhaps addicted to lakes, Duling Lakes is one of those close by, and Brown Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Blue Lakes Campground is a brilliant local campground. Man, is there plenty of entertaining things to do near Brown Lake. Head up to Eldora and strap some skis to your feet. There's so much to do here at Brown Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Potato Patch Campground is a wonderful place for that. Lakes are brilliant;                  Lost Lake is a lake that's close to Brown Lake, and close by you find the Peaks Trail which is a fine hiking trail. High temperatures at Brown Lake all through the summertime months are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. All through the wintertime highs are generally in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Brown Lake. Brown Lake is pretty dry mostly; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and January is when it's the driest. Brown Lake is a beautiful lake in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! The Sangre De Cristo Mountains is unbeatable!
