Whitewater paddling is splendid       on South Platte River; if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Bear Peak Trail. Not much rain falls here at Broomfield Reservoir; May is the month that gets the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. While you're here at Broomfield Reservoir, you could also take a look at beautiful Le Gault Reservoir, and why not camp at Delux RV Park while you're here at Broomfield Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. The                  Westin Westminster is a great place to get some rest, and why not explore Le Gault Dam since you're here. If you're a golfer then a tremendous close by course is Eagle Trace Golf Club, and paddling on Boulder Creek is so much fun. Dry warm beds await you at SpringHill Suites Denver North/Westminster, and you can have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Mesa Trail. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Broomfield Reservoir. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's.
