This lake is so wonderful. Horsethief Creek is a splendid local stream, and a magnificent site close by is Gardner Gulch. Be careful coming to the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, you might not ever wanna go back home again. You get a tremendous vista of Monon Hill from Broadacre       Lake Reservoir, and a lake nearby is Lower Homestake Tailings Pond. At Broadacre Lake Reservoir throughout the summertime months highs are in the 70's, and the nighttime is slightly cooler of course, regularly in the 40's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the-10's for Broadacre Lake Reservoir. At Broadacre Lake Reservoir you don’t see much rainfall; of all the months in a year August is the one with the                  most rain; February is when it's the driest. That right there is a heap of cool things already but it goes on, the San Juan and Jemez Mountains has it all. Hiking along the La Garita Stock Driveway is great fun, and get your pulse rate up on the wonderful whitewater of Rio Grande. This lake is so wonderful. You should absolutely dedicate some time to Antlers Park while you're here at Broadacre Lake Reservoir, and a glorious place for whitewater paddling is Rio Grande. Broadacre Lake Reservoir is right by the McKenzie Stock Driveway, and Broadacre Lake Dam is a site that is near Broadacre Lake Reservoir. Broadacres Traveling Teepee is a pleasant local campground. This lake is located in the wonderful San Juan and Jemez Mountains. This place, Broadacre Lake Reservoir, it truly has so much outdoors amusing stuff.
