Why not take a refreshing hike along the Grizzly Helena Trail, and Brands Reservoir is a perfect place to visit for more than one day, Lakeside Campground is a perfect place to camp nearby. Having a perfect time in the Park Range is trouble-free. Lakes?       Sure, Lake John is in close proximity, and after a long day outdoors CrossTimbers at Steamboat is a nice spot to spend a night or two. It is very dry here at Brands Reservoir frequently; most of the rain falls during April while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun stuff the Park Range has to offer. The summit of Sheep Mountain can be seen from Brands Reservoir, and Helena Campground is a                  great campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Brands Reservoir is right by the Blue Lake Trail; Brands Reservoir is a great lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. A good place for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Brands Reservoir is North Platte River, and an interesting thing to explore near Brands Reservoir is Brands Dam. High temperatures at Brands Reservoir all through the summertime are in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's.
