Do stop by Brainard Lake while you're in this part of Colorado. The Front Range scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Brainard Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Pawnee Campground is a glorious location for that; if you need a site to stay Best Western Lodge At Nederland is a delightful choice. Not much rain falls here at Brainard Lake; August is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand

Really brilliant skiing awaits you at Winter Park, and get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Boulder Creek. This place rocks, just look at all the amusing stuff to do next to Brainard Lake. You can never get enough of the tremendous skiing at Berthoud Pass. But wait, there's more entertaining stuff to do in the Front Range. Niwot Mountain is clearly visible from Brainard Lake, and Stone Mountain Lodge And Cabins is a good location to get some rest. This lake
is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Little Raven Trail, and there are great places to explore along the Brainard Lake Trail. The scenery at Long Lake Dam near Brainard Lake is delightful, and if you're looking for a tremendous spree,
Rocky Mountain National Park is pretty near.
At Brainard Lake during the summer months highs are in the 70's with overnight lows in the 40's. All through the wintertime the highs are generally in the 20's, and winter nights come
with lows in the 0's to Brainard Lake. Having a tremendous time in the Front Range is trouble-free. You can run the rapids of Boulder Creek - South close to Brainard Lake, and Brainard Lake R-2 is a nearby lake that you could visit.
