There's so much to do here at Braecher Ranch Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Central City/Blackhawk KOA is a magnificent place for that. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Mount Thorodin Trail; dry warm beds await you at Golden Rose Victorian Hotel. Braecher Ranch Reservoir is pretty waterless frequently; through August this area sees the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
