Enjoy a round of golf at Cattail Creek Golf Course not far from Boyd Lake, and if you came to camp Loveland RV Village Campground is a nice place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Cache La Poudre River has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot nearby, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Loveland is a tremendous place       to spend a night or two. It is very dry here at Boyd Lake mostly; throughout the month of May you get the most rain around here while February is generally the driest month. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Boyd Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Loveland/Fort Collins Area, and going for a hike on the Round Mountain Trail is always a great adventure. This lake is so wonderful. This is a popular place for folks from                  Fort Collins-Loveland, and lakes are such calm spots, why not stop at Horseshoe Lake. Summertime at Boyd Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs all through the winter are ordinarily in the 40's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Boyd Lake. There's so much to do here at Boyd Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Boyd Lake is a fine place for that, and there's always Boyd Lake Dam to check out right next door to Boyd Lake.
