After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Loveland is a nice place to spend a night or two; you can stay the night at Loveland RV Village Campground. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Cache La Poudre River, and you can go for a hike on the Round Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Getting to Dry Creek from Boyd Lake is simple, and Boyd Lake is a splendid campground nearby. The warmest       time of the year at Boyd Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's while Boyd Lake night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. Glide down the rapids of Big Thompson River in a kayak, and Boyd Lake is not the only spot nearby, Heinricy Lake is a nearby lake. If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Loveland is a pleasant choice; nice hiking                  is available along the Jug Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You can take a little trip to Boyd Lake Dam while you're here at Boyd Lake; if you're visiting from Fort Collins-Loveland, you won't be the only one. Boyd Lake gets very little rain; May is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do near Boyd Lake.
