If you are in San Juan county it's always a good idea to stop by Boyce Lake. Summertime highs at Boyce Lake typically tend to be in the 70's while nighttime lows are typically in the 30's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Boyce Lake during the winter ordinarily descend into the 0's. That right there is heaps of exciting stuff already but it goes on, the San Juan and Jemez Mountains has it all. There's some

| | flowing water close by, Lime Creek is a stream you can pop by while here, and what would winter be without some skiing at Kendall Mountain. So much exciting stuff to do here at Boyce Lake, too delightful to be true. Have a perfect hiking adventure along the East Fork Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Animas River. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Highline Trail; camping is available at Lime Creek Campground. | |

This lake is one of the great places here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Be careful coming to the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, you might not ever wanna return home again. Take a hike on the Circle Trail, and soar down the rapids
of Lime Creek in a kayak. Boyce Lake gets a normal amount of yearly rain; August is when you get the most rain here, and June meanwhile is the driest month. Camping at Purgatory Campground is always a tremendous experience, and
if you need a location to stay Purgatory Village Condominium Hotel is a nice choice. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! Silverton is a great site to do that. Everybody loves Purgatory Flat; a delightful close by hotel is Purgatory Village Condominium Hotel.
