The vista of Mount Alice from Box Lake is lovely, and the vistas at Rocky Mountain National Park will blow your mind. During the warm days of summer, highs typically are in the 70's at Box Lake; the night is fairly chillier of course, commonly in the 40's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures       at Box Lake drop into the 0's. So many amusing things to do at Box Lake, so little time. A cool spot to visit in the vicinity of Box Lake is Eagles Beak; Berthoud Pass has wonderful slopes and a friendly staff. This lake is so wonderful. Aspen Lodge is a fine spot to get some rest; going for a hike on the Bluebird Lake Trail is always a magnificent adventure. This lake is so wonderful. People from Boulder love to come to Box Lake; Fan Falls is an inspiring                  location to pop by while you're here. Box Lake gets very little precipitation; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the Front Range. After a long day outdoors Peak To Peak Lodge Inc. is a magnificent location to spend a night or two, and needless to say, this is a pleasant vicinity for folks who like lakes, Thunder Lake is a lake nearby. Just can't get enough of Box Lake. Boulder Creek has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot close by, and camping is available at Pawnee Lake Campground. Box Lake is one of the lakes here in the Front Range. Winter Park is a very popular ski area in the vicinity; an out of the ordinary thing to visit near Box Lake is Bluebird Dam. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Front Range. Paddling on Saint Vrain Creek - North is so much fun; don't leave Box Lake without first going for a hike along the Saint Vrain Glacier Trail. Camping at Shelter Rock Campground is always a pleasant experience, and you're perhaps hooked on lakes, Eagle Lake is one of those nearby. Go for a hike on the Lion Lake Trail, and Boulder-Grand Pass is another nice spot to explore close by.
