Anyone know anything about this lake?...
Watson Lake
11 miles away Watson is beautiful. You do need a wilderness habitat stamp to be there, but that is included with your fishing license. It is closed to boating, except float tubes. The river (poudre) runs along the east side of the lake so even for casual recreation or non fishing activities it is a picteresque spot. There are two handicapped/wheelchair accessible fishing docks, and the trail by the river is also wheelchair friendly....
College Lake
12 miles away What kind of fish are in College Lake? Is fishing allowed there? Any kinds of pollution problems?...
Seaman Reservoir
12 miles away 1 PHOTO Jim, I am a huge fan of this lake and how beautiful it is. Did you work for the DOW? I have had great luck fishing there, lovely camping weather and have enjoyed many hikes to the inlet. I have a few pictures of the lake when it was pretty full. Do you know where I can get information on why it was drained? Was it because of the construction of Glade Reservoir?... I lived at Seaman's Reservoir in 1974 and maintained it. I then also work at the Bellevue plant, I'll download some of my pictures and send them somtime. Back then the capacity was 4,330 A.F....

Greyrock Trail
16 miles away I hiked Grey Rock on July 3rd and contracted poison ivy. Great hike, but beware and buy some Zanfel first!...Another great story describing the wounders of the Rocky Mountains. As a life serious rock climber I truly respect the story of a beautiful hike. Thank you, enjoy many more family adventures. Don't rush up the mountains and be thankful for the lush mountains we call the Rocky Mountains....I climb to the Grey Rock Summit every summer. We went this 4th of July weekend. We left the parking lot late afternoon and got to the summit with enough time to hike the boulders to the top after putting up the tent. The 4 of us watched the sunset. I had a headlamp, but didn't need it. There was an almost full moon lighting up the canyon. My daughter & I slept in the parachute hammocks and watched the moon cross the sky. I enjoyed a good sunrise too. The trail leading to the lake was marked with rock piles that even I found it! I walked in up to my knees and soaked my bathing suit in the clear water. The others walked across the lake and climbed the rocks to the top on the West side. So refreshing. Nice family holiday. We were also celebrating my daughters 19th birthday....
