Beaver Creek has wonderful slopes and a friendly staff; why not camp at Piney Crossing Campground if you're here at Box Canyon Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Rock Creek Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Eagle River. Do explore George Lake near Box Canyon Lake, it's a striking lake, and do take

Through the warm days of summer here at Box Canyon Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. For the period of the wintertime highs are usually in the 30's; overnight lows in the 0's for Box Canyon Lake. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Park Range. Inn Beaver Creek is a splendid location to get some rest. These mountains rock, just look at all the cool stuff to do in the Park Range. Glide down the rapids of Piney River in a kayak, and if you're stopping by from Edwards, you
won't be the only one.
Not much precipitation falls here at Box Canyon Lake; the wettest month of the year is typically July, that's the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
Box Canyon Lake is a beautiful lake in the Park Range. A tour to Box Canyon Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Grass Gulch Spring, and camping at Box Canyon Lake is nice fun, Blacktail Creek Campground is a nice local
campground.
