Why not stop by Bowles Reservoir Number 1 if you're passing through these parts. This lake is so wonderful. You don’t have to go far from Bowles Reservoir Number 1 to make out the water at J B 'B' Grant Dam; Chatfield is a good campground here. A good nearby hotel is Super 8 Motel - Lakewood/Denver Area, and get covered with water paddling on Bear Creek. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this site. A trip to Lilley Gulch
is always fun, and you can stay the night at South Park Mobile Home Park. Not far from Bowles Reservoir Number 1, you'll stumble on Bowles Lake which is a picturesque lake, and there are plenty of people from Denver-Aurora here. This
lake is so wonderful. Do pay a visit to Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument if you're here at Bowles Reservoir Number 1.
