Bowl of Tears is always a pleasure to visit. After a long day outdoors The Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch is a great place to spend a night or two, and Beaver Creek has splendid slopes and a friendly staff. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this site. Hiking along the Main Range Trail is tremendous fun, and since you're here, you could also go to wonderful Hunky Dory Lake. And if that's not enough there's a lot more fun stuff to do in the Sawatch Range.

| | Visit East Cross Creek since you're here at Bowl of Tears; dry warm beds await you at Christie Lodge. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Half Moon Campground is a wonderful spot to do that; why not take a refreshing hike along the Half Moon Trail. Summertime highs at Bowl of Tears frequently tend to be in the 80's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures | |

at Bowl of Tears dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. Now, you may assume that's loads but there's even more exciting stuff to do here in the Sawatch Range. Float down the rapids of Eagle River in a kayak, and Bowl of Tears
is great enough to spend more than a day at, Gold Park Campground is a great local campground. Man, is there lots of exciting stuff to do in the vicinity of Bowl of Tears. Vail is a very popular ski area close at hand. This lake
is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Homestake Creek offers some glorious whitewater; if you want a little side visit, try Fall Creek Pass. Mulhall Lakes is a nearby lake that you could pop by; there are plenty
of folks from Edwards here at Bowl of Tears. Bowl of Tears is one of the lakes here in the Sawatch Range. Mount of the Holy Cross is clearly visible from Bowl of Tears; Bowl of Tears is right by the Fall Creek Trail. At Bowl of
Tears you don’t see much rainfall; most of the rain falls throughout July, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
