     This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Bowl of Tears has to offer, you can camp at Gold Park Campground, and getting to East Cross Creek from Bowl of Tears is easy. Bowl of Tears is not far at all from Edwards; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Beaver Creek is relatively near. Having a great time in the Sawatch Range is trouble-free. Get dripping wet paddling on Homestake Creek, and dry warm beds await you at Christie  
   Lodge.
Not much rain falls here at Bowl of Tears; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Tuhare Lakes is a nearby lake that you could go to, and one of the main traits of the surroundings of Bowl of Tears is Mount of the Holy Cross. This lake is located in the wonderful Sawatch Range.
Nearby Fall Creek Pass is a splendid place to go if you're at Bowl of Tears; going for
 
               a hike on the Half Moon Trail is always a nice adventure. Go for a hike on the Fall Creek Trail, and The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch is a fine place to get some rest. During the warm days of summer here at Bowl of Tears, high temperatures usually reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 0's for Bowl of Tears.
All the outdoors enjoyable things near Bowl of Tears will keep you coming back time and again. Vail is a good local ski area. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! Bowl of Tears rocks! A lake close by is Lake Constantine; you can stay the night at Half Moon Campground. But wait, there's more enjoyable things to do in the Sawatch Range. Whitewater paddling is fine on Eagle River; don't leave Bowl of Tears without first going for a hike along the Main Range Trail.
