Cebolla River is a wonderful whitewater spot next to Bowers Lakes; the Rough Creek Trail is a brilliant hiking trail close by. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! The San Juan and Jemez Mountains is peerless! On a wonderful day at Bowers Lakes you can take a hike along the Devils Hole Trail, and a pretty lake like       Hidden Lake is a wonderful place to check out. This lake is so wonderful. Do take a look at Dry Lake right next door to Bowers Lakes, it's a gorgeous lake. And if you're still looking for more outdoors amusing things just keep reading. Spruce Campground is a great campground nearby, and a great nearby hotel is The Water Wheel Inn. The San Juan and Jemez Mountains scenery is always beautiful. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool stuff                  the San Juan and Jemez Mountains has to offer. Near Bowers Lakes you find the Cebolla Trail which is a great hiking trail, and in case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Lake Fork Gunnison River. You don’t have to go far from Bowers Lakes to spot the water at Bowers Lakes Dam, and if you came for an overnight stay Cebolla Campground is a wonderful location to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Some close by water includes Rock Creek, and a delightful place to have a look at close by is Bar Gulch. At Bowers Lakes all through the summertime highs are in the 70's. Summer night lows dip down to the 40's.
