Here at Bowen Lake you can see Baxter Peak, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Antlers is a splendid site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Take a side tour to East No Name Creek, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Sunlight Mountain is rather near. Not much rainfall falls here at Bowen Lake; the       wettest month of the year is frequently October, that's the one that rains the most, and February is the month with the least moisture. Have a good hiking adventure along the Fayville Trail, and Palmer Lake is a great lake close by. If you came to camp Klines Folly Campground is a good site to do that, and a delightful lake like Ute Lake is a splendid site to go to. This lake is so wonderful. Bowen Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Supply                  Basin Campground is a brilliant local campground. For you golfers we recommend nearby Ironbridge Golf Club, and Colorado River has a fine whitewater paddling spot nearby. During the months of summer here at Bowen Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Bowen Lake.
