In the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kannah Creek, and there are fine sites to discover along the Blue Grouse Trail. Camping is available at Island Lake Campground; you can go for a hike on the High Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Little Bear Campground is a nice spot to camp; a lake close by is Deep Slough       Reservoir. The snow is perfect at Powderhorn. Boulder Lake Reservoir gets very little precipitation; October is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is January. So many exciting things to do at Boulder Lake Reservoir, so little time. Good hiking is available along the Cottonwood Lakes Foot Trail, and Comfort Inn Delta is a tremendous site to get some rest. For the duration of the days of summer here at Boulder Lake Reservoir,                  high temperatures commonly get into the 90's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are mostly in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Boulder Lake Reservoir.
