Boulder Lake is a location that is rather dry regularly; throughout the month of December you get the most snow around here, and June is the month with the least moisture. Man, is there a lot of fun things to do in the Sawatch Range. Everybody close by loves skiing at Monarch, and going for a hike on the Gunsight Trail is always a glorious adventure. You clearly ought to love the Sawatch Range. Nearby lakes? Sure, Lamphier       Lake is near Boulder Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Gold Creek Campground is a good location to camp. At Boulder Lake through the summertime highs are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 30's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Boulder Lake temperatures plunge to the-10's. The Sawatch Range scenery is always beautiful.
