The Onemile Trail is a splendid hiking trail close to Boulder Lake; Boulder Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Gold Creek Campground is a tremendous local campground. This lake is so wonderful. A great close by hotel is The Alpenblick By Aspen Lodging Company, and a journey to Black Canyon Of The Gunnison National Park is recommended. If you love the outdoors you'll       love it here in the Sawatch Range. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Taylor River, and a pleasant location to camp here at Boulder Lake is Comanche Campground. During the summer highs here at Boulder Lake reach the 70's with night lows in the 30's. For the period of the wintertime highs are mostly in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Boulder Lake are in the-10's. Boulder Lake is one of the lakes here in                  the Sawatch Range. And if you're still looking for more outdoors entertaining stuff just keep reading. Gunsight Pass is a great site to have a look at in the neighborhood of Boulder Lake; there is a perfect hiking trail close by called the Gunsight Trail. You could also go to Lamphier Lake if you're here at Boulder Lake; it's nearby, and you can hit the slopes at Monarch close at hand. This site, the Sawatch Range, has so much outdoors entertaining things. A lake close by is Mill Lake, and from Boulder Lake you get a pleasant vista of Broncho Mountain. Boulder Lake gets very little rain; through December this area sees the most snow while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
