Don't leave Bottle Stomp Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Minnesota Pass Trail; you can stay the night at Mesa Creek Campground. Bottle Stomp Reservoir gets very little precipitation; the month of October is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is June. This lake is so wonderful. Smith Fork Campground is a delightful campground nearby; a beautiful lake like Blue Lake is a pleasant spot to go to.
