    Borns Lake Reservoir is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Skiing at Wolf Creek is one of those things you just must do, and if the weather is brilliant, you can go for a hike along the Piedra Stock Trail. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can visit Lake Forest Dam, and you can run the rapids of San Juan River. There's so much to do here at Borns Lake Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Turkey Springs Campground is a  
   brilliant place for that, and a fine close by hotel is Econo Lodge Pagosa Springs.
This lake is so wonderful. Dutton Creek is in the neighborhood of Borns Lake Reservoir and is always a bliss to stop at, and if you're a golfer then a great nearby course is Pagosa Springs Golf Club. All the outdoors cool things in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains will keep you coming back over and over. Going for a hike along the Fourmile Stock Trail will let you absorb
 
               the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and perhaps you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Bramwell Reservoir Number 2 is just a very short distance away. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Borns Lake Reservoir. Fairfield Pagosa Resort is a good site to get some rest; of course, this is a perfect neighborhood for people who like lakes, Sullenburger Reservoir is a lake in the vicinity.
This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Borns Lake Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Happy Camper RV Park, and there's whitewater on San Juan River for all you adrenaline people. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff at Borns Lake Reservoir. This lake is located in the wonderful San Juan and Jemez Mountains.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. While staying at Borns Lake Reservoir you could always look at Stevens Draw, and the Martinez Creek Trail is a great hiking trail close by. Borns Lake Reservoir is ordinarily a relatively dried out site; the wettest month of the year is usually August, that's the one that rains the most while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Throughout the summer months here at Borns Lake Reservoir, high temperatures typically reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Borns Lake Reservoir.

I am a guide on the San Juan here and wanted to correct the info about this run. The put in is behind a place called malt shoppe and the Lat/Long of it is: 37. 269902°, -107. 001559°

The take out after Mesa Canyon is where Trujillo Rd gets close to the river on R Left @ 37. 125988°, -107. 051072°

These are the closest Public put in & take out to the Lat/Long given on the site. Happy Raftin!...
