| | Campground is a wonderful local campground, and at Borns Lake you can observe Sheep Mountain. Hiking along the Rainbow Trail is magnificent fun, and a tremendous spot like Poison Park here at Borns Lake is too great to miss. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Windy Pass Trail; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend San Juan River - East Fork. Having a pleasant time in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains is simple. | |

Borns Lake is a brilliant place to visit for more than one day, Pagosa Riverside Campground is a brilliant place to camp nearby, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Pagosa Springs, Co is a delightful location to spend
a night or two. Borns Lake gets very little precipitation; July is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is June. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Oak Ridge Lodge is a pleasant
choice, and if you come at the right time of year, Wolf Creek offers some nice whitewater. But wait, there's more enjoyable stuff to do in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. There's some flowing water close by, Beaver Creek is a stream
you can pop by while you're here, as expected you could also have a look at Rod and Gun Club Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. Borns Lake is not the only spot nearby, Hatcher Lakes is a nearby lake, and wonderful scenery and pleasant skiing is what you obtain at Wolf Creek.
