Many people like to go to Borah Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Americinn - Eagle, Co, and do stop by The Beaver Ponds, it's a lovely lake. Borah Lake is a beautiful lake in the Sawatch Range. This lake is so wonderful. Dewey Park Spring is always fun to check out, and good hiking is available along the Antone Trail. | | more than a day at, River Dance RV Resort is a brilliant local campground; don't leave Borah Lake without first going for a hike along the Blue Creek Trail. Borah Lake is a location that is relatively dried out mostly; April is when you get the most rain here, and June is the month with the least moisture. a while, Gypsum Creek Campground is a perfect place for that, and let's not forget Cherry Creek which is a stream that you may bump into while here. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! The Sawatch Range rocks! Dewey Park
is a good location here at Borah Lake, and Dewey Park Gulch is a good spot to spend some time. Gotta ski! Aspen Highlands is a nice place to do that, and there's brilliant hiking along the Salt Creek Trail. You just can't imagine
the amount of outdoors cool stuff the Sawatch Range has to offer. Sourdough Lakes is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and soar down the rapids of Roaring Fork in a kayak. High temperatures at Borah Lake during the warmest time
of the year are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are usually in the 30's with temperatures at Borah Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. If you need a location to stay Holiday Inn Express Eagle, Co is a perfect choice; paddling on -blank- is so much fun.

LEDE Reservoir
 | Beautiful drive up to Lede Reservoir. We started in Eagle and took Sylvan Lake road all the way past the lake and then took a right at the first intersection. After climbing up and around the peak in front of us we were upon some huge rolling meadows that were among the forrests. A slight drop down into the valley on the west side of the mountains and a left turn lead us to the reservoir. It is a great spot with some fishing paths around the water and a number of campsites as well. We continued west to Gypsum Creek Road and a short drive back to the town of Gypsum.... |
