Go to Booth Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Blue River for all you thrill seekers. There's so much to do here at Booth Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Gore Creek Campground is a perfect spot for that. This lake is one of the great places here in the Park Range. At Booth Lake you don’t see much rain; most of the rain falls during July while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.

| | Near Booth Lake you come across a golf course called Vail Golf Club, and going for a hike on the Slate Creek Trail is always a good adventure. If you came to camp Piney Crossing Campground is a great place to do that, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Gore Creek. You believe that's enough? night or two, and close by you stumble on the Lost Lake Trail which is a great hiking trail.
Summer brings highs in the 70's to Booth Lake. All through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 40's. Throughout the wintertime
the highs are ordinarily in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Booth Lake are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Pitkin Lake is in close proximity, and there is a delightful hiking trail nearby called the Deluge
Lake Trail. You truly ought to have a thing about the Park Range. The slopes of Vail are so inviting nobody can resist, and the vista of Bald Mountain is scenic.
These mountains rock, just check out all the fun things to do in
the Park Range. A great nearby hotel is Vail Racquet Club Condominiums, and the great folks of Silverthorne like to hang out nearby. Gotta ski! Beaver Creek is a splendid place to do that.
