This lake is so wonderful. Near Bonham Reservoir you stumble on the Crag Crest Trail which is a delightful hiking trail, and after a long day outdoors Howard Johnson Express - Cedaredge is a                  splendid site to spend a night or two. Not much rainfall falls here at Bonham Reservoir; October is when you get the most rain here, and January is the month with the least moisture. If you want a little side visit, try Death Valley, and needless to say Atkinson Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth checking out. There is a great hiking trail near Bonham Reservoir called the Lily Lake Trail, and Bonham Reservoir is good enough to spend more than a day at, Bonham Campground is a good local campground. Dry warm beds await you at Candlewood Suites PARACHUTE, and Powderhorn has wonderful slopes and a friendly staff.
