If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Parachute is a great choice. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Bonham Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Trickel Park Campground. Bonham Reservoir gets very little rain; the month of October is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is January. This lake is so wonderful. If you       would like a little side visit, try Death Valley, and hiking along the Lily Lake Trail is perfect fun. During the long summer days, highs ordinarily are in the 90's at Bonham Reservoir, and the night is a little cooler of course, mostly in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Bonham Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Have a glorious hiking adventure along the Crag Crest Trail.
