Many people like to go to Bolen Reservoir. Around Bolen Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rain; October is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. Throughout the warm days of summer highs here at Bolen Reservoir reach the 90's while nighttime lows are generally in the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are generally in the 30's, and overnight lows at Bolen Reservoir during the wintertime generally descend into the 10's.

Man, is there a load of entertaining things to do near Bolen Reservoir. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Delta, and going for a hike on the Spring Camp Trail is always a brilliant adventure. Powderhorn has perfect slopes and a friendly staff; close by you stumble on the Whitewater Basin Trail which is a great hiking trail. Lakes? | |

Sure, Anderson Reservoir Number 6 is close at hand, and there are some great whitewater spots on Kannah Creek.
This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Kannah Creek for all you adrenaline junkies; you'll possibly meet
some people from Grand Junction here. Bolen Reservoir is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Jumbo Reservoir Campground is a pleasant local campground, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Clifton Inn is a fine spot
to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Coal Creek Trail; a great site to camp here at Bolen Reservoir is Glacier Spring Campground.
