During the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's with temperatures at Boehmer Reservoir dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. And if that's not enough there's heaps more enjoyable stuff to do in the Front Range. Windy Point is a wonderful location to take a look at while in the region;       Bighorn Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could explore. A glorious spot like Bull Park here at Boehmer Reservoir is too tremendous to miss, and the summit of Pikes Peak can be seen from Boehmer Reservoir. This lake is one of the great places here in the Front Range. If you came to camp The Crags Campground is a tremendous place to do that; a trip to Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is worthwhile. This lake is so wonderful. There's some out of                  the ordinary stuff to distinguish at Boehmer Dam near Boehmer Reservoir, and there is a good hiking trail close by called the Indian Trail. Now, you may imagine that's heaps but there's even more cool stuff to do here in the Front Range. If you're here at Boehmer Reservoir, you could go to Boehmer Creek. There's so much to do here at Boehmer Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Clyde Campground is a great place for that. This lake is so wonderful. On a glorious day at Boehmer Reservoir you can take a hike along the Barr Trail; after a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Inn Villa Motel is a perfect place to spend a night or two. Man, is there a lot of amusing stuff to do near Boehmer Reservoir. A nice close by hotel is The Cliff House Hotel at Pikes Peak, and if you get bored of Boehmer Reservoir you could also visit close by Big Horn Reservoir. If only every place had this much outdoors cool things, what a great globe it would be. Around Boehmer Reservoir you don’t get a lot of precipitation; July is the month that gets the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
