Bobcat Reservoir is pretty dry frequently; October is when you get the most rain here, and February is the month with the least moisture. Deerlodge Park Campground is a wonderful local campground, and a lovely lake like Box Elder Reservoir Number 2 is a good spot to visit. The warmest time of the year at Bobcat Reservoir comes with high temperatures       in the 90's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Bobcat Reservoir are in the 0's. Do go to Coal Ridge Dam since you're here at Bobcat Reservoir, and if you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Yampa River. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a glorious time here at Bobcat Reservoir. This lake is                  so wonderful.
