Any time is a good time at Bob Lake if you go for the outdoors. You can run the rapids of Boulder Creek close to Bob Lake, and naturally, this is a great neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Betty Lake is a lake in the vicinity.
A perfect nearby hotel is Beaver Village Condominiums, and the snow is good at Berthoud Pass. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the South Boulder Creek Trail, and Iron Horse Resort is a perfect location to get some rest.
