All through the warmest time of the year here at Bluebird Reservoir, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 70's with nighttime lows in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Bluebird Reservoir dipping down into the 0's all through winter       nights. Just can't get enough of the San Juan Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Conejos River Hostel, and going for a hike on the Conejos Stock Driveway is always a nice adventure. Around Bluebird Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rain; most of the rain falls through August, and January is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Rio de los Pinos; you can go for a hike on the Posos Trail.                  Now, you may believe that's lots but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Bluebird Reservoir. If you need a place to stay Red Bear Inn is a great choice. Bluebird Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the San Juan Mountains.
