For the period of the summertime months here at Blue Lakes, high temperatures frequently reach the 70's with overnight lows in the 30's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's while Blue Lakes overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the-10's. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the       area near Blue Lakes has to offer. Village Point by Breckenridge Accommodations is a perfect place to get some rest; on a glorious day you can take a hike along the Burro Trail. You can take a little visit to Upper Blue Dam if you're here at Blue Lakes; Crested Butte is a very popular ski area around here. And that's not all you can do here at Blue Lakes. Everybody loves Lincoln Amphitheatre. From Blue Lakes you get a fine panorama of North Star Mountain,                  and if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the Wheeler Trail. If you need a location to stay Crystal Peak Lodge is a wonderful choice, as expected you could also pop by Upper Blue Reservoir if you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is great on Arkansas River; probably you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Crystal Lake is just a very short distance away. If you came for an overnight stay Beaver Creek Campground is a brilliant site to camp, and the Wheeler Trail is a magnificent hiking trail close by. Blue Lakes is a location that is pretty dried out mostly; throughout the month of July you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is January. This lake is so wonderful.
