If you like lakes and you're in this part of Colorado you can check out Blue Lakes. All year is a great time in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains if you fancy the outdoors. The peak of Dallas Peak can be observed from Blue Lakes; do set aside some time for Mill Creek Basin since you're here at Blue Lakes. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Blue Lakes. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. High temperatures

So much exciting stuff to do here in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains, too perfect to be true. After a long day outdoors The Hotel Telluride is a nice location to spend a night or two, and nearby you hit upon the Dallas Trail which is a great hiking trail.

experience, and there's whitewater on San Miguel River for all you adrenaline kick people. Blue Lakes is located in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Hit the slopes at Silverton in the vicinity.
This lake is so wonderful. Get
your heart pumping on the pleasant whitewater of Mineral Creek - South, and there is a good hiking trail nearby called the Deep Creek Trail. If you need a site to stay The Victorian Inn is a nice choice; you might also want to pay
a visit to Blue Lake Pass if you're here at Blue Lakes. Blue Lakes gets very little rainfall; the wettest month of the year is generally July, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is June.
What a place
this is for outdoors people. A magnificent place to camp here at Blue Lakes is Ouray Koa Kampground; Telluride has great slopes and a friendly staff. Near Blue Lakes you come across a golf course called Telluride Ski & Golf Club, and on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the Blue Lakes Trail.
