If you need a location to stay Colorado City CO Days Inn is a splendid choice, and on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the Santana Trail. It is very dried up here at Blue Lakes typically; the month with most of the rain is August, and January is when it's the driest. Blue Lakes is located in the Sangre De       Cristo Mountains. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Blue Lakes; during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Blue Lakes temperatures fall to the 0's.
