This lake is so wonderful. You absolutely must fancy the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. These mountains rock, just check out all the enjoyable stuff to do in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Take a hike on the Strawberry Trail, and Inn of the Rio Grande       Hotel and Conference Ctr is a perfect spot to get some rest. The warmest time of the year at Blue Lakes comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Blue Lakes. Blanca Basin is right here at Blue Lakes; Blue Lakes is right by the Ute Trail.
