All year is a magnificent time in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains if you go for the outdoors. Blanca RV Park is a magnificent campground nearby, and the Strawberry Trail offers hiking at its best. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. If you get bored of Blue Lakes, you could also have a look at nearby Crater Lake. Blue Lakes is ordinarily a       quite dried up spot; the wettest month of the year is frequently August, that's the one that rains the most, and January meanwhile is the driest month. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Blue Lakes; Ute Trail is a great local trail, and if you need a spot to stay Alamosa-Days Inn is a magnificent choice. The Sangre De Cristo Mountains scenery is always beautiful. That right there is a lot already, but it goes on; Blue Lakes has it all.
