     Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Mud Lake, and dry warm beds await you at The Ice House Lodge. Through the warmest time of the year at Blue Lake Number 1 temperatures are regularly in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 50's. Highs during the winter are ordinarily in the 30's with temperatures at Blue Lake Number 1 dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. At Blue Lake Number 1 you don’t see much rainfall;  
   July is the month that gets the most rain while June is frequently the driest month.
This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Molas Lake Park is a brilliant location to camp, and Bridal Veil Basin is a perfect spot to stretch your legs a bit. Having a nice time in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains is simple. A short visit to Bridal Veil Falls is always worthwhile, and the Brooklyn Trail is a splendid hiking trail nearby. You just can't
 
               envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains has to offer. Skiing at Telluride is one of those things you just ought to do; there is a perfect hiking trail nearby called the Greyhound Pack Trail.
But wait, there's more entertaining things to do in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. This is a good area for people who like lakes. Blue Lake is a lake close at hand, and if you need a site to stay Camel's Garden is a glorious choice. This lake is so wonderful. Get your pulse rate up on the perfect whitewater of Mineral Creek - South, and nearby you find the Weehawken Pack Trail which is a good hiking trail.
You don’t have to go far from Blue Lake Number 1 to make out the water at Bridal Veil Dam; Ingram Peak is trouble-free to spot from Blue Lake Number 1. Blue Lake Number 1 is one of the lakes here in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. So much entertaining stuff near Blue Lake Number 1, truly tremendous. A tremendous place for whitewater paddling near Blue Lake Number 1 is Lime Creek, and camping is available at South Mineral Campground.
Yep, outdoors fun stuff to do are beyond doubt abundant here at Blue Lake Number 1. You can never get enough of the magnificent skiing at Silverton, and next to Blue Lake Number 1 you come across a golf course called Telluride Ski & Golf Club.
