You'll need more than a day to look at everything Blue Lake has to offer, you can camp at Jumbo Reservoir Campground, and whitewater paddling is good on Kannah Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Blue Lake is a tremendous place to visit for more than one day, Glacier Spring Campground is a tremendous place to camp nearby, and get wet paddling on Kannah Creek. Not much rain falls here at Blue Lake; during the month of October you get the most rain around here,

| | and January meanwhile is the driest month. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Blue Lake; Point Trail is a wonderful local trail, and hey, Cheever Creek is a great local stream. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Powderhorn, and there's fine hiking along the Coal Creek Trail. And if you're still looking for more outdoors exciting things just keep reading. nighttime low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 10's. Best Western Sundance is a wonderful spot to get some rest, and since you're here, you could also go to pretty Chambers Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. A
pleasant nearby hotel is Comfort Inn Delta, and there's some exciting stuff to make out at Chambers Dam close to Blue Lake.
