So many amusing things close to Blue Lake, clearly astonishing. There are tremendous locations to look at along the Blue Lake Trail, and Blue Lake is not the only site close by, Timber Lake is a close by lake. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Cameron Peak can be spotted from Blue Lake. There are some nice whitewater spots on Cache La Poudre River, and       Blue Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Tunnel Campground is a great local campground. During the long summer days at Blue Lake temperatures are generally in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 30's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Blue Lake temperatures fall to the 0's. Blue Lake is typically a relatively dried out spot; of all the                  months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Joe Wright Creek offers some wonderful whitewater; a tremendous close by hotel is Gateway Inn Restaurant Cnf Ctr. Good hiking is available along the North Fork Trail; if you came to camp Skyline Campground is a wonderful location to do that. This lake is one of the great places here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Medicine Bow Mountains.
