     This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Whitehead Trail, needless to say you could also take a look at Elk Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Blue Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 30's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Blue Lake temperatures  
   fall to the-10's. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a wonderful time here at Blue Lake. Get drenched paddling on Rio Grande, and going for a hike on the Fern Creek Stock Driveway is always a good adventure.
If you want a good time in the great outdoors just come on up to the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Go for a hike on the Devil Mountain Trail. On a lovely day you get a sight of Mesa Lato from Blue Lake, and if you've had enough of Blue Lake, Divide Lakes
 
               is nearby. Yep, outdoors fun things truly is bountiful here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Head up to Silverton and strap some skis to your feet, and Blue Lake is a brilliant site to visit for more than one day, Thirtymile Campground is a brilliant site to camp nearby.
Blue Lake is located in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Lost Trail Campground is a pleasant campground nearby, and whitewater paddling is glorious on Vallecito Creek. An average amount of rainfall falls at Blue Lake; the wettest month of the year is frequently August, that's the one that rains the most while June is typically the driest month.
