Blue Lake is a nice lake to visit. Blue Lake is located in the Park Range. This place, Blue Lake, it clearly has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. The friendly folks of Edwards like to hang out nearby, and in case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Blue River. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Park Range. Camping at Piney Crossing Campground is always a pleasant experience; there is a good hiking

| | trail nearby called the Piney Lake Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. A delightful place to camp here at Blue Lake is Big Green Campground, and the Sheep Drive Trail is a tremendous hiking trail close by. Lakes are such serene locations, why not check out Twin Lakes next to Blue Lake, and after a long day outdoors Breakaway West is a magnificent location to spend a night or two. This place, the Park Range, has so much outdoors entertaining stuff.

fine close by hotel is Homestake Condos VR, and you'll come across a pretty lake called Eaglesmere Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is delightful on Colorado River, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Vail
is quite near. At Blue Lake you can observe Gore Range, and the skiing at Beaver Creek is fine.
You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things in the Park Range. Don't leave Blue Lake without first paying
a visit to Mather Spring; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try McPhee Creek. But wait, there's more to do near Blue Lake. Near Blue Lake you hit upon the Eaglesmere Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail, and this is a
delightful location in the shadow of the Gore Range. During the summertime at Blue Lake temperatures are regularly in the 70's, and the nighttime is slightly cooler of course, usually in the 40's. Highs during the winter are commonly
in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Blue Lake temperatures fall to the 0's.
Around Blue Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is July, and the driest month is February.
