If you like lakes and you're in this part of Colorado you can check out Blue Lake. There is a wonderful hiking trail in the neighborhood of Blue Lake called the Eaglesmere Trail, and if you need a spot to stay Breakaway West is a perfect choice. And if that's not enough there's a heap more exciting things to do in the Park Range. Get covered with water paddling on Colorado River; a visit to Mather Spring will fill your spirit with great feelings. Just can't

| | get enough of the Park Range. McPhee Creek is a stream that you may stumble upon while you're here; on a great day you can take a hike along the Sheep Drive Trail.
During the warm months at Blue Lake highs are commonly in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Blue Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Vail | |

since you're here; you'll meet a lot of folks from Edwards here. This lake is so wonderful. A great close by hotel is Vail Landmark Properties; a pleasant vista of pretty Gore Range is available.
Blue Lake is in a magnificent
location in the shadow of the Gore Range, and Blue Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Big Green Campground is a good local campground. Skiing at Beaver Creek is one of those things you just should do; whitewater paddling
is great on Blue River. So much entertaining stuff to do at Blue Lake, so little time. There's so much to do here at Blue Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Piney Crossing Campground is a great location for that, and the
Piney Lake Trail is a great hiking trail close by.
Blue Lake is pretty waterless usually; through July this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is February. This spot is unbeatable, just look at all the amusing things to do near Blue Lake. The Park Range scenery is always beautiful.
