Around Blue Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is August; February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Boulder Creek - South, and after a long day outdoors Aspen Lodge is a great location to spend a night or two. That right there is plenty already, but it goes on; Blue Lake has it all. If the weather is fine       here at Blue Lake, you can go for a hike along the Pawnee Pass Trail. And that's not all you can do here at Blue Lake. The peak of Mount Audubon can be made out from Blue Lake, and going to Rocky Mountain National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. A brilliant spot to camp here at Blue Lake is Mitchell Creek Campground, and there is a good hiking trail nearby called the Mount Audubon Trail. Yeah, come up here to the Front Range for a splendid                  time. Get dripping wet paddling on Boulder Creek; Blue Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Pawnee Lake Campground is a glorious local campground. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Blue Lake, for example Upper Coney Lake; a great location close by is Pawnee Pass. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Winter Park, and Best Western Lodge At Nederland is a tremendous location to get some rest. The warmest time of the year at Blue Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Blue Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. The Isabelle Glacier Trail is a nice hiking trail in the neighborhood of Blue Lake, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can stop by Lake Isabelle Dam. All the outdoors cool stuff in the Front Range will keep you coming back persistently. Lakes?
