You'll need more than a day to explore everything Bloodsworth Pond has to offer, you can camp at Three Forks Campground. Through the summer months, highs generally are in the 80's at Bloodsworth Pond while overnight lows are regularly in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Bloodsworth Pond are in the 0's. Bloodsworth Pond is pretty dried out commonly; all through       May this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is January. This lake is so wonderful. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area near Bloodsworth Pond has to offer. After a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Inn Rifle is a nice spot to spend a night or two, and hiking along the Hay Flat Trail is pleasant fun. Nearby lakes? Sure, Howey Reservoir is close to Bloodsworth Pond, and you can have a pleasant hiking adventure                  along the Mansfield Ditch Trail. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on White River - South Fork, unsurprisingly you could also check out Wilson Reservoir since you're here; it's not far at all. Super 8 Rifle is a glorious place to get some rest, and going for a hike along the Last Chance Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. This lake is so wonderful.
