Beautiful Blodgett Lake has much to offer visitors. This lake is so wonderful. If you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Fryingpan River, and on a delightful day you can take a hike along the Last Chance Trail. But wait, there's more enjoyable things to do in the Sawatch Range. You'll meet a lot of folks from Edwards here, and Blodgett Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Gold Park Campground is a good local campground.

| | Looking for something in close proximity to Blodgett Lake? Missouri Lakes is close at hand, and nearby you come across the Lake Charles Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Sawatch Range. A great close by hotel is The Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch, and if you came to camp Elk Wallow Campground is a great spot to do that. The Sawatch Range scenery is always beautiful. Blodgett Lake is not the only place nearby, Strawberry | |

Lakes is a nearby lake; Eagle River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby.
This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Hyatt Mountain Lodge is a nice spot to spend a night or two, and brilliant skiing awaits you
at Beaver Creek. Vail has brilliant slopes and a friendly staff. At Blodgett Lake you don’t see much precipitation; July is the wettest month with most rain, and February is when it's the driest.
All through the summertime highs
here at Blodgett Lake get into the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. Throughout the winter the highs are commonly in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Blodgett Lake. You just
can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining things the area close to Blodgett Lake has to offer. On a gorgeous day you acquire a panorama of Savage Peak from Blodgett Lake; there is a good hiking trail close by called the Half Moon Trail.
