This lake is one of the great places here in the Sawatch Range. This lake is so wonderful. Near Blodgett Lake you locate the Lake Charles Trail which is a great hiking trail. There's so much to do here at Blodgett Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Gold Park Campground is a tremendous site for that. All year is a good time in the Sawatch Range if you fancy the outdoors. Savage Peak is uncomplicated to       spot from Blodgett Lake, and on a splendid day you can take a hike along the Last Chance Trail. Throughout the days of summer highs here at Blodgett Lake reach the 80's. Summer night lows dip down to the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are mostly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Blodgett Lake are in the 0's. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Vail is near Blodgett Lake; paddling on Eagle River is so much fun. Blodgett Lake                  is a location that is rather dried up usually; July is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. If you adore the outdoors, you'll go for Blodgett Lake. A day on the slopes of Beaver Creek is just what you need, and after a long day outdoors The Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch is a good spot to spend a night or two. So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Sawatch Range, too great to be true. If you're visiting Blodgett Lake from Edwards, you won't be the only one, and dry warm beds await you at Centennial Condominiums. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Blodgett Lake has to offer, you can camp at Elk Wallow Campground, and the Half Moon Trail is a great hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful.
