If you came for an overnight stay North Crestone Campground is a great spot to camp, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Rito Alto Lake. Blind Lake gets very little precipitation; throughout August this area sees the most rain, and January is when it's the driest. Don't leave Blind Lake without first going for a hike along the Hermit Lake Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Arkansas River. Blind Lake is one of the lakes here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. This lake is so wonderful.
