Having a nice time in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains is easy. Lake Creek Campground is a fine local campground, and you can run the rapids of Arkansas River. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Blind Lake, you could stop at Stinking Arroyo, and don't leave Blind Lake without first going for a hike along the Cotton Trail. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Blind       Lake, you could also take a look at pretty Rito Alto Lake, and after a long day outdoors AppleLodge Bed And Breakfast is a perfect location to spend a night or two. High temperatures at Blind Lake all through the summer months are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's; overnight lows in the 10's for Blind Lake.
