If you are in San Juan county it's always a good idea to stop by Blair Lake. Summertime highs at Blair Lake commonly tend to be in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. Highs throughout the winter are mostly in the 30's, and night lows in the 0's for Blair Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Blair Lake is a location that is relatively waterless usually; the month with most of the rain is August; June is the month with the least moisture. be without some skiing at Silverton, and if you came to camp Silverton Lakes Campground is a wonderful site to do that. You can run the rapids of Mineral Creek - South in close proximity to Blair Lake, and you'll never forgive yourself
if you don’t go skiing at Kendall Mountain if you're here. If you get bored of Blair Lake, you could also go to nearby Silver Lake, and a pleasant trip to Arrastra Basin is a great way to spend an afternoon. The San Juan Mountains
scenery is always beautiful. Be careful coming to the San Juan Mountains, you might not ever want to return back home again. A great place for whitewater paddling near Blair Lake is Lime Creek, and Blair Lake is next to Blair Gulch which is unquestionably worth taking a look at.
