This lake is so wonderful. There is a good hiking trail near Blackman Reservoir called the Foot Trail; lakes are such calm spots, why not stop by Cottonwood Lake Number 2. Whitewater paddling is good on Kannah Creek, and going for a hike on the Cottonwood Lakes Foot Trail is always a fine adventure. You can see Bald Mountain       from Blackman Reservoir, and Blackman Dam is not far at all from Blackman Reservoir. Really splendid skiing awaits you at Powderhorn; after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Delta is a nice place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Blackman Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Carp Lake Campground is a great spot for that, and you can go for a hike on the Lily Lake Trail. At Blackman Reservoir during                  the summertime highs are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. Through the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Blackman Reservoir. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! Blackman Reservoir rules! A tour to Webb Flats revives the soul; if you came to camp Ward Lake Campground is a wonderful spot to do that.
